Match Report Press Report

Winchester 5 Lost to Wykeham 3.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 59 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Andrew Kettlewell, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 67 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Andrew Kettlewell.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Michael Dunne, who over-turned a 410 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
