Any suggestions of impropriety in the result were negated by the League Organiser not only being invited to watch, but to play! The gamesmanship was beyond reproach, even if some of the performances were very questionable!!
Winchester 3 Lost to Winchester 2 in a close match.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 1 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

It was the number 1 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 100 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Gareth Hall.

Player of the match must be the Away number 2 string, Phil Ashman, who over-turned a 1785 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
...I rather hope you mean 'sportsmanship'.
