Match Report Press Report

Winchester 2 Lost to Lee-on-Solent 2.

With the home team having higher Gradings in 2 of the strings, the match was always going to be in their favour. The away team proved the statisticians wrong though by clinching a great win.

On paper, the number 1 string should have been the closest, with only 8 ranking points separating the two players before the match. The Away player, Thomas Trott, did well therefore to secure the win.

It was the number 5 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 95 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, Alex Kershaw.

Player of the match must be the Away number 5 string, Alex Kershaw, who over-turned a 1085 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
